Jost Chemical Co is now manufacturing Ultra Pure mineral salts with exceptionally low levels of Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium and Mercury that meet the new EU regulations for heavy metals. The Low HM products are targeted for Nutritional and Food Supplements.

Jost’s Ultra Pure products meet the following Heavy Metal specifications:*

Lead - 1 ppm maximum

Arsenic - 1 ppm maximum

Cadmium - 1 ppm maximum

Mercury - 0.1 ppm maximum

* Zinc Citrate Dihydrate USP Powder per code 2947 has a lead specification of 5 ppm maximum per the USP monograph.
